UPSC Civil Services 2022: Important alert for the candidates who are preparing for the Civil Services Examination. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the notification for the joint conduct of Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2022 and Indian Forest Service Preliminary Examination 2022 today, February 2, 2022. The preliminary examination for the Civil Services Examination conducted every year by UPSC and the Indian Forest Service Examination is conducted jointly in the first phase to select eligible candidates for recruitment to Group A and Group B (Gazetted) posts in various Central Services. Apply for UPSC Prelims 2022 from today

With the release of the notification for UPSC Prelims 2022 by the Union Public Service Commission, the process of applying for appearing in the examination will also start from today itself. According to the revised schedule released by the Commission for the year 2022, candidates will be able to appear for the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2022 by February 22. To apply, candidates need to visit the UPSC's application portal, upsconline.nic.in.

Eligibility for Civil Services and Forest Service Preliminary Examination

Candidates should note that only those candidates can appear in the Combined Preliminary Examination of Civil Services and Forest Services to be conducted by UPSC, who have passed Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University. However, candidates appearing in the final year/semester examination can also apply. Also, the age of the candidates should not be less than 21 years and not more than 32 years as on the dates prescribed by the commission. However, upper age limit is relaxable for the candidates for various reserved categories as per government rules, for more details and other details see the notification.
